Billy grew up in Long Beach. He earned dual B.S. degrees in Asian American Studies and Social Sciences from the University of California, Irvine, and a M.A. in Higher Education Administration from New York University. Billy started at UCR in the Asian Pacific Student Programs office in November of 2003, and is a member of NASPA (Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education).

Esther earned her B.S. in Business Management from the University of Redlands, and has been with APSP since December of 2005. She is also a member NASPA (Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education.
